Spokesmen for the Government of Iran assure that they will take revenge on Israel after the attack carried out, in the morning hours of this Saturday, against a civilian building in Damascus, which resulted in the death of five military advisors.
The spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry, Nasser Kanani, quoted by the international news agency RT, said that the attacks against Syrian territory are a sign of the impotence of the “child-killing Zionist regime” on the battlefield and an attempt to escalate tensions in the region. In addition, from Tehran, they indicated that they reserve the right to respond to the assassination of Iranian advisors.
“In addition to the political, legal and international persecution of these aggressive and criminal measures, the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves its right to respond to the organized terrorism of the false Zionist regime at the right time and place,” said the spokesman.
Kanani asserted that the “murder” of members of the Revolutionary Guard by Tel Aviv “clearly shows the connection between the terrorist regime (Israel) and the Islamic State in the region.” The victims included the name of Youssef Omid Zadeh, also known as Sadiq, the intelligence commander of the Quds Force, a subdivision of the IRGC.
According to reports, the bombing was carried out by Israeli forces. A group of three Israeli warplanes launched two missiles at an area in the western part of the city. According to data presented by the head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdel Rahman, quoted by AFP, the bombing left 10 dead.
