The Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran reported that it neutralized a plan launched by spy networks from more than ten countries, whose objective was to alter the internal stability of the Persian nation. According to the institution, the opposition command center was activated after the Twelve-Day War, with the participation of several hostile services.

In a statement, the security structure indicated that the recent events in the country were part of an operation attributed to the United States and Israel, aimed at compromising national integrity, Telesur reported.

The research indicates that the external strategy was aimed at generating internal disturbances, supporting opposing groups and paving the way for military action, defined as the three axes of the plan.

The authorities confirmed that the operation, identified as a Lightning Strike, was related to the death of civilians, members of the security forces, police officers and members of the Iranian paramilitary volunteer force during clashes in recent days.

The Iranian Government maintains that these events respond to a campaign aimed at interfering with its sovereignty, promoted by Washington and Tel Aviv after the end of the June war.
