This food blockade, as reported by Telesur, has been denounced since the beginning of February by the United Nations (UN).

There, as at the Kerem Shalom land crossing, Zionist Israelis prevent the entry of food and goods.

Israel's finance minister, the extremist Bezalel Smotrich, stressed that, in contact with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he decided not to transfer the flour shipments destined for the UNRWA (United Nations Refugee Agency), arguing that they will end up in the hands of Hamas.

While Israel is singling out UNRWA for allegedly harboring members of Hamas, hunger in Gaza is growing.

According to the commissioner general of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, more than a thousand containers, mostly of flour and other food, are still blocked by Israel.

On February 12, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) assured that unprecedented levels of food insecurity and precarious conditions persist and increase in Gaza.
