The Israeli defense forces have carried out more than 20 air strikes in southern Lebanon, using intelligence information, against civilian sites with the use of combat aircraft, whose bombings targeted the Muraisa area, between the cities of Al-Babliyya and Al-Zarariya.
It also launched two incursions in the Wadi Al-Zagharin area, located between Sajad - Al-Aishiya - Al-Rayhan and an incursion in the Barghaz area, which caused a hole in the road leading to the western Bekaa, the Telesur website reported.
Simultaneously, it launched raids in the Tubna al-Bisariya area and on the Tuffahata road, which was cut off.
It was also announced that the Israeli occupation is carrying out a tracking operation towards the village of Kfar Shouba, in southern Lebanon, where more than five civilians were injured.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into force in Lebanon on November 27, 2024, Israel has recorded more than a thousand violations, including air strikes, artillery bombardments, overflights and machine gun fire.
These acts have left approximately 400 dead and injured, and the continuing violence has generated growing concern about compliance with peace accords.
In this context of aggression, Israel has carried out a new violation of Lebanese sovereignty by escorting hundreds of settlers to Lebanese territory, close to the border with occupied Palestine.
This incursion has been widely condemned by the Lebanese authorities, who believe that it reflects Israel's persistence in ignoring international laws and United Nations (UN) resolutions, particularly resolution 1701.
The Lebanese Army has described the penetration as a transgression of its territory and a flagrant violation of ceasefire agreements.
