The Israeli Army bombed different points in the north and also the south of the Gaza Strip early this Saturday, November 15, despite the fact that the ceasefire is still in force, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported, the SWI website reported.
Israeli artillery hit the outskirts of the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, according to Wafa, citing local sources.
In addition, an Israeli drone fired at the area east of the Jabalia refugee camp, also in the north of the enclave.
None of these bombings have caused casualties, according to Wafa. In the south, Israeli navy ships opened fire off the coast of Rafah.
The Israeli Army, for its part, has not commented on any of these attacks, although it usually justifies them by claiming to have detected a “terrorist presence” on the “yellow line”, the point to which they have retreated inside Gaza in this first phase of the agreement.
Since the arrival of the truce, which came into effect on October 10, the Israeli Army has killed 261 Palestinians and injured another 632, according to the Ministry of Health's account.
The current Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023 after the Hamas attacks, has killed at least 69,187 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and injured another 170,703.
Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble without being able to be rescued by Palestinian Civil Defense teams due to the lack of heavy machinery.
