Israel launched a missile attack early this Friday against a site in Iran, an official told the US agency ABC News, the account of the social portal Russia Today reported.

The report came shortly after local sources reported explosions in Isfahan, in central Iran, as well as in the governorate of As-Suwayda, in Syria, the Baghdad area, and in the governorate of Babil, in Iraq.

The attacks come after the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, had announced his right to protect himself by attacking the Islamic Republics.

These bombings are in addition to the attack on the Iranian diplomatic headquarters in Damascus, where 7 members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, attributed to the Israeli government, died.

This Thursday, the United States joined the United Kingdom's sanctions against Iran, which refer to two companies linked to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as car companies and steel suppliers.
