The Ministerial Security Commission of the State of Israel unanimously approved this Sunday a statement proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that rejects the unilateral recognition of a Palestinian State, RT reported.

“Israel categorically rejects international dictates regarding a permanent solution with the Palestinians. The agreement, to the extent that it is reached, will only be through direct negotiations between the parties, without preconditions,” reads an Israeli statement.

According to the publication, Israel maintains and will remain firm in its opposition to such a measure because, he argues, after the “massacre” perpetrated by the Palestinian movement Hamas on October 7.

In this regard, Gideon Sa'ar, who is part of the Ministerial Security Commission, stated that the unilateral international recognition of a Palestinian State would affect the security of the Jewish country.
