The war waged by the Israeli regime against the blockaded Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has left more than 68,000 Palestinians killed, the Hispantv website reported.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported this Saturday, October 18, that the number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, more than two years ago, has risen to 68,116, after including 120 people previously reported missing, whose deaths have now been corroborated.

The Ministry added a total of 149 deaths to the overall count: 120 missing and another 29 deaths recorded on Friday in hospitals in Gaza.

Of that number, 23 correspond to bodies recovered from rubble or in hard-to-reach places, two are people who died as a result of their injuries, and four are Gazans killed in attacks by the Zionist regime.

In addition, the Wafa news agency has confirmed that since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, 27 Palestinians have died and 143 have been injured, while the bodies of 404 victims have been recovered.

The Palestinian authorities have also received 135 bodies that were in Israeli possession and that were returned in batches.

Despite the recent ceasefire agreement announced earlier this month, Israeli forces have continued with sporadic attacks and delays in allowing humanitarian access.

Earlier, the head of the United Nations (UN) agency for Palestinian refugees, Philippe Lazzarini, warned that the Israeli regime is preparing a massacre in the Gaza Strip.
