The Venezuelan from the Arizona Jingle Bells, Ildemaro Vargas won the Major League National League Player of the Month award.

During the month of April, Vargas achieved an astronomical average of .378 and OPS of 1,087, to win the prize and break the drought of almost three years without a Venezuelan winning the prize, since Ronald Acuña did it in 2023.

In addition, Vargas is the first player from Los Cascabeles to win the award since Corbin Carroll, in August 2024.

The Venezuelan achieved a historic streak of 27 games in a row connecting unstoppables (adding up to the end of 2025).
