With five doubles this season and 405 for life in Major League Baseball (MLB), the Venezuelan José Altuve is seventh in the historical ranking among players born in Venezuela.

In the third episode of the match between the Houston Astros and the Kansas City Royals, the Venezuelan caught a pitch from starter Seth Lugo, to connect his double number 5 of the season.

Altuve left the match 4-1, with a double, a ticket and a run scored.

In the current campaign, the Venezuelan second baseman has 17 hits in 13 games, 5 doubles, 3 homers, 7 tickets, 10 runs scored and 3 RBIs, for an average of .340.
