The young Venezuelan from the Milwaukee Brewers, Jackson Chourio, became the first Venezuelan with 10 or more hits in his first eight games of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career before his 21st birthday.
According to the Baseball Reference statistical search system, reviewed by El Emergente, the Venezuelan prospect has records that have only 15 players in the history of the major leagues.
Chourio hit 10 hits in the first nine games of his career aged 20 years and 28 days.
