The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Jesús Fanía, stated that the country's economic transformation must be aimed at guaranteeing better living conditions for the population.
“Everything that is contemplated in the economy, diversification, agro-industrial development, manufacturing, and productive forces of the country, must be linked to the need to provide well-being to the Venezuelan people,” he said during an interview on the program “Al Aire”, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
Faria stressed that the promotion of a broad productive model remains a priority in national economic policy. He stressed that progress towards a diversified system is a central point for obtaining verifiable results in the management of the Bolivarian Government.
The parliamentarian explained that the oil industry is part of the mechanisms to overcome the rentier model. “One of the drivers of diversification to leave rentism behind is oil itself; we must create alternatives of a different nature, including the reform of the Hydrocarbons Law to carry out this stage of the economy,” he said.
He highlighted the need to simplify administrative procedures to stimulate domestic production. “To boost the country's productive development, we must reduce bureaucratic and administrative obstacles; this is a flag of Commander Hugo Chávez,” he said.
Faria indicated that 2026 is presented as a favorable period for deepening the strategic lines of the Bolivarian Revolution.
