Jimena Domínguez will seek her place in Los Angeles 2028 in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship in Frankfurt

The Venezuelan gymnast Jimena Domínguez will be present at the 42nd World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, an international event that will take place from August 13 to 16, 2026 in the city of Frankfurt, Germany, based at the Festhalle Frankfurt facilities.
The national representation will compete in the senior category in the individual category, accompanied by Russian coach Elena Nikolashkina.
The championship, organized by World Gymnastics, brings together the leading exponents of world rhythmic gymnastics and will award three direct qualification places for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games in the individual full-competition competition, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Sport.
In accordance with the established format, the three places will be awarded to the National Olympic Committees of the three highest-ranked gymnasts, with a maximum of two quotas per country.
In an outstanding performance at the Central American and Caribbean Games, Dominguez has just won the silver medal in the individual team category, along with Luciana Caraballo and Alejandra Montilla after recording a brilliant cumulative score of 216,800.
