Jorge Arreaza invited the use of ALBA as a tool in the anti-fascist struggle

The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, invited all countries to use the regional block as a tool in the anti-fascist struggle.

“On the ALBA council there are African, American, European, Indian, Nepal, and Australian movements; they are part of ALBA and its movements and you are invited to appropriate the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America and to use this tool given to us by commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro to combat imperialism, capitalism and fascism in this historic moment,” he said.

Arreaza emphasized the importance of the union of peoples in the fight against imperialism, placing special emphasis on the fact that “the unity of Latin America and the Caribbean is absolute, we have suffered the same evils of colonialism, domination, slavery and exploitation.”

During his speech, the Secretary specified that the Bolivarian Alliance has been a mechanism of sovereign integration for peoples fighting against fascism.
