Jorge Rodríguez: 17 people deprived of their liberty in Zone 7 were released

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported, through his Telegram channel, that 17 people detained in the detention center in Zone 7 were released as part of the Amnesty Law that is currently being debated.

Rodríguez stressed that this process is part of the path of reconciliation promoted by the Parliament. “Let us continue this path of peace for the construction of democratic and brotherly coexistence,” he said.

The president of the Legislative Branch stressed that the Amnesty Law aims to open spaces for national reconciliation and stressed that, despite political differences, all Venezuelans share the same symbols and values. “We all have the same song: Gloria al Bravo Pueblo. All the same flag,” he said.
