Jorge Rodríguez: Fascism is always violent

Fascism is always violent, with serious consequences for people, for peoples, said Jorge Rodríguez, the head of the Our Venezuela Campaign Command.

“Fascism is always violent because in its genesis there is hatred derived from lack because they are people who feel insufficient and act in their ways to feel superior. There is no fascism without violence,” he stressed in reference to the aggression suffered by the opposition deputy Inácio Da Costa at the hands of a member of Vente Venezuela.

In this sense, he compared this fact, in which the aggressor told the deputy that he didn't mind killing him “because he was a scorpion”, with what he would like to do with the People, the Venezuelan extreme right, if he were to seize power next July 28.

“How many times has humanity not heard with horror things like: I don't mind killing you because you're black, communist, Jew, American Indian. That phrase of I don't mind killing you because you're a scorpion is the summary of Land of Grace (right-wing government plan),” he said during a press conference held this Monday.
