The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported this Sunday, July 5, on the holding of a high-level working meeting with the sectoral vice-presidents of the Executive Office, with the strategic objective of evaluating, coordinating and deepening assistance policies aimed at the civilian population affected by the national seismological emergency.

Through a publication published on his official Telegram channel, the parliamentarian ratified the absolute will of the Venezuelan State to maintain the permanent deployment of all public institutions in contingency zones.

“We will not rest until we guarantee comprehensive and effective care for every family affected by earthquakes. We will be reborn in national unity!” , the legislative authority asserted forcefully.

This political-administrative coordination meeting is part of the daily monitoring scheme activated by the Central Executive to oversee the logistical operation of the temporary camps and the provision of essential supplies.

In addition, the day served to strengthen the link between ministerial portfolios and the plans for the reconstruction of road and residential infrastructure implemented by the newly created Great Venezuela Renace Mission.

The national authorities reiterated that the absolute priority of the Bolivarian Government is to ensure decent living, health and safety conditions for families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

In this regard, the operational and technical teams from the different strategic sectors will remain deployed in the field to offer timely housing solutions and to move progressively towards the total normalization of the affected communities.
