Rodríguez, after exercising his right to vote at the Padre
Mendoza del Valle Basic School, assured that the country “who speaks is the Constitution
of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and who expresses himself is the People”.
In this regard, he expressed his satisfaction with the electoral
process and invited voters to come and express their will, through the vote.
He also highlighted the effectiveness of the
Venezuelan electoral system, while recalling that it was not easy to reach this date, “we arrived
after an arduous and tenacious fight against violence, against
sanctions, against the blockade, against extremism and here we are the
Venezuelans who are well expressing our opinion.”
In addition, he pointed out that Venezuelans “are giving
a new election to the whole world (...) we are giving them a lesson in citizenship,
in true democracy, in peace.”
