In Venezuela, we will defeat fascism as a contribution of this society to world peace, said the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez.

During his participation in the installation of the Great Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc, Rodríguez pointed out that our country is currently the epicenter of the fight against homicidal expressions of fascism.

“We don't ask to be one, but we're not going to shirk our responsibility. Right now Venezuela is the epicenter of the fight against the murderous expressions of fascism and neofascism, but rest assured that fascism will be defeated here as a way of contributing as a society to peace throughout the world,” he emphasized.

In this regard, Rodríguez expressed his emotion at the beginning of this Congress, which is profoundly democratic, Chavista. “This congress has as its fundamental characteristic its Chavista character. This is a congress derived from childbirth, births are painful, but happy,” he emphasized.
