Jorge Rodríguez: People of La Guaira will be prosperous and happy with the government of Terán and the presidency of Maduro

The president of the National Assembly (AN) and head of the Ven25+ Campaign Command, Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted the resounding victory obtained by the candidates of the Bolivarian Revolution in the state of La Guaira in the last regional and legislative elections of May 258.

“In La Guaira, their hands went a little out because they got 16 more votes than the second one ( ...). Getting 91% of the votes to elect a governor indicates that almost 100% of the entire territory of La Guaira, its inhabitants, its villages, its beaches, its housing estates voted for José Alejandro Terán, the deputies of the People voted, voted for a real transformation, voted for President Maduro's idea of now recovering the welfare state,” he said.

From the state of La Guaira, where he accompanied the swearing in of José Alejandro Terán as re-elected governor of this entity for the period 2025-2029, the parliamentarian pointed out that this victory demonstrates the rebellious spirit of the people who did not give in to the pressures and threats of imperialism and its lackeys of Venezuelan opposition extremism.

“To us who are interested in the sanctions of the gringos, to us who are interested in their stupid allegations, here is the Town of La Guaira and it will be prosperous and will be happy with the government of José Alejandro Terán and the presidency of Nicolás Maduro, that they give us whatever sanctions they want, put in whatever actions they want and we will all collapse them one by one,” he emphasized.

He indicated that this great victory increases the commitment of the revolutionary leadership to the People.

“The commitment is immense, we cannot and will not fail, we cannot rest on the laurels of this immense victory because this victory involves us a lot,” he said, noting that this overwhelming victory is celebrated by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez and General Jorge Luis García Carneiro.

“ Wherever our infinite Commander Hugo Chávez is, he will have a smile on his lips and he will be saying: that's my fucking town, that's the town of La Guaira that I love, that's the town of Venezuela that we built with our hands. And wherever he is, and I know he's close, Jorge Luis García Carneiro will smile and be saying: that's the future we dream of,” he said.
