The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, proposed this Tuesday the drafting of a Special Law called Libertador Simón Bolívar against the Blockade and for the Defense of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in contrast to the approval of the illegal and illegitimate Bill HR 825, misnamed Bolivar law, by the House of Representatives of United States (USA).

“The real Bolivar Law, the Bolivar law of the anti-imperialist spirit of our Liberator Simon Bolivar, the Bolivar Law to defend freedom, to defend our homeland, to defend our people,” Rodríguez said during the regular session of Parliament.

He stressed that this Law must include the perpetual disqualification from exercising public office for any person who, inside or outside the territory, promotes sanctions against the country, in reinforcement of the provisions of article 130 of the Constitution on crimes of treason.

“I propose that this Special Liberator Simón Bolívar Act includes the perpetual political disqualification of those who have committed such brutal acts against the Republic, that they go to Washington, that they go to Miami, that they stay in the golden square of Salamanca in Madrid. That's good!” , he said.

Rodríguez pointed out that “if a person attacks neonatal intensive care units cannot hold any form of public office in Venezuela, if a person denies drugs to cancer patients in Venezuela, he cannot even hold the position of councilor and I propose that they be disqualified in perpetuity,” he reiterated.

In this regard, he indicated that people who applauded the US bill must be permanently disqualified. “There they are in the media, there they are all in the networks, who came out applauding this HRH act I don't know what. Well, these people are the subject of this special law that I ask to be approved in a peremptory manner.”
