The Venezuelan extreme right received money from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which it used to conspire against Venezuela and enrich opposition “leaders”, denounced the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez.
During his participation in the radio program “Cable to Earth” hosted by the Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñañez, he pointed out that the leaders of the extreme right appropriated significant amounts of money “for their personal benefit”.
On the other hand, in the above-mentioned interview, the President of the Legislative Branch highlighted the hopes of the National Government that the Colombian justice system, with the evidence it possesses, will act against those responsible for the so-called operation Gideon, with which it was intended to assassinate the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“We have an avalanche of evidence that has been shown (...) Iván Duque and Álvaro Uribe Vélez (former Colombian presidents) are people with an obvious criminal and homicidal character who promoted all actions so that mercenaries would enter Venezuela in 2020 in order to carry out the assassination against President Nicolás Maduro, Minister Diosdado Cabello, Minister Vladimir Padrino López and Vice President Delcy Rodríguez,” Rodríguez explained.
In that regard, he recalled the links between Duque and Uribe Vélez and drug trafficking groups, which they used to support the above-mentioned operation against Venezuela.
Rodríguez added that these other actions were recently unveiled by the American-Canadian mercenary Jordan Goudreau to the media. In this regard, he explained the lawsuit received by the extreme right opponent “Juan Guaidó” for breach of contract for two million dollars, in the face of the failed plan against the Venezuelan people.
