The president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, stressed that with the approval this Thursday, February 19, of the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence, by the National Parliament, and its respective enactment, the legislative work has not been completed, but is continuing its process for its application.

This was stated in his account on the social network Telegram, where he said that “after the enactment of the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence, legislative work does not stop here.”

He reaffirmed that “the Special Commission appointed by the Parliament will monitor the Law and will serve those who need it. This article can lay the foundations for looking to the future and embarking on a new path of peace for Venezuela.”

In his message, Rodríguez attached a video, in which he offers statements to the media, in the outdoor spaces of the Miraflores Palace, where he confirmed that “we have not fallen into provocations”.

“Surely those who persist in an extremist agenda will try to abort this beautiful process that has taken place, but we are going to insist on the positive,” he said.
