The president of the National Assembly (AN) and head of the Ven25+ Campaign Command, Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, praised the determination and will of Patria de los Trujillanos, who on May 25 elected Gerardo Márquez's candidate as governor with more than 93% of the votes.
“Never before has a result of 93% of votes in the state of Trujillo been seen in governors' elections, indicating that the entire movement of the Venezuelan people materialized on May 25, turning this fact into a historic milestone,” he said.
During his speech at the swearing in of Márquez as re-elected governor of the Trujillo entity for the period 2025-2029, the head of parliament maintained that this resounding victory increases the Revolution's commitment to the Trujillanos: “it is forbidden to fail,” he emphasized.
Rodríguez highlighted the virtues of the re-elected ruler and trusted that under the regional leadership of Márquez and the national leadership of President Nicolás Maduro, Trujillo is heading towards building the full life of its inhabitants.
“The time has come to build and dismantle the state that doesn't work and that moves away from the Venezuelan people,” he said.
