This Sunday, July 28, the general coordinator of the Venezuela Nuestra Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, said that the Presidential Election went completely normally, “we can say that they were jugulated, some violent outbreaks and acts of sabotage were prevented from occurring and generating anxiety in the population.”
“Now we can say it, over the past few days there have been threats against the actions of the Venezuelan people and the State, and those threats were circumvented by President Nicolás Maduro and the State, even in silence, to prevent those actions from going against the development of the electoral event,” he stressed.
At a press conference, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, Rodríguez emphasized that the extremist right that behaves “with hate and in the dark, failed to achieve its objective of seeking to confront brothers against brothers, of looking for ways to attack.”
He stressed that this attitude is contrary to “the idiosyncrasy of Venezuelans, who are by nature supportive, generous and close.”
Rodríguez also congratulated the deployment of Plan República, which “guaranteed peace”.
Regarding the results, he said that by order of the National Electoral Council (CNE), “we cannot give results, we will patiently wait for the CNE bulletin, but immediately after that bulletin is issued we wait for you where you know to meet those you know.”
