Jorge Rodríguez: We have to work together to achieve peace in the country

Venezuela is living hours in which all the inhabitants of this land have to work in the contest to achieve true peace, of life, of independence and with which we care for our sacred territory, emphasized the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez.

In this regard, during the installation of the National Assembly for the period 2026-2031, he summoned all Venezuelans and especially the opposition to dialogue to build proposals for national development.

“These are times to meet, these are times to lay our shoulders down because anything that comes from outside will always be worse, because the terrible days we have just lived show us what we have said many times, bombs don't just fall on the heads of Chavistas, bullets don't just go through the young bodies of Chavistas. If a Venezuelan dies at the hands of foreign action, it is the cry of that mother, that wife, that daughter, that son is what unites us,” he stressed.

In this regard, Rodríguez honored the soldiers, the heroes, who died during the United States attack on our country on January 3. “I ask that tears turn into strength, into certainties, that we will be able to build peace. We have never sought war, ever,” he emphasized.

In the same way, the President of the Parliament recalled that the Venezuelan military has never left our territory to conquer, on the contrary, they have come out to liberate nations.
