The Venezuelan José Altuve shot his 750th extra base and reached a career scored 1,250 in the major leagues.
Despite the loss of the Houston Astros; 3-2 against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday in the last of the series at Daikin Park, the Astroboy went 4-2 with his sixth double of the young season.
With his 750th extra base of his career, Altuve is ranked eighth in all time among second basemen, 11 behind Ryne Sandberg, according to Última Noticias.
With his 1,250th career, Altuve also took the 12th place among the middlemen, his next goal in that line being Robinson Canó (1,262), followed by Nellie Fox (1,279).
On the other hand, Altuve has 461 doubles just 3 behind Reggie Jackson, who is currently ranked 97th of the players with the most doubles in the history of the American and National Leagues.
