José Javier Sánchez presented his work “From being language to not being forgotten” at the Havana Book Fair

The Venezuelan poet José Javier Sánchez presented his work “From being language to not being forgotten” at the 34th Havana International Book Fair (FILH), a collection of poems published by Monte Ávila Editores and winner of the 10th Ramón Palomares National Literature Biennial.

This was announced by the Ministry for Culture on its social network Instagram, in which it indicated that the presentation took place at the emblematic Casa de las Américas, a space that brought together writers and representatives of the cultural field to share different literary proposals.

Through this work, Sánchez proposes a journey through memory and nature, while proposing a view of everyday life through language, with an exercise of detaching the ego and resignification of the word.

Cuban writers Zaida Capote Cruz, Jorge Fornet and José Luis Méndez also participated in the day, in a meeting that strengthened literary exchange and cultural ties between Venezuela and Cuba.
