During the Metal, Iron, Steel and Aluminum Expo 2024, led by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, the Spanish professor and intellectual Juan Carlos Monedero emphasized that Venezuela is an example for the European continent.

“As you would say: 'What a pain is this people' who, despite so many difficulties, have endured what few presidents would have endured,” he emphasized from Bolívar state.

He pointed out that the European continent is not doing things well “and now you are an example for Europe” and stressed that Venezuela has been able to choose its good friends for its economic development.

“I wish the best of luck to the people of Venezuela,” he concluded.
