At the House of Insurgent History located on the corner of Traposos in the city of Caracas, the First Meeting to Raise Awareness of Women's Rights to a Life Free of Violence was held, in order to sensitize communal judges and justices of the peace about the fight against violence against women.

This meeting was led by the Deputy Minister of Social Protection for Women, Nancy García Castellano, together with other authorities from the National Institute for Women.

In his speech, García said that “we have a responsibility to work and to serve each one of you, this is the year of the greening of the Fatherland”.

He added that it is no accident to have the giant that plants trees to green and “it is no coincidence that there is a plant that is the Fatherland, which we have to care for and love, because, just as we are refounding the Republic with the judges and judges of the peace. Know that you have a work team ready here; they are servers and servers who will accompany you with the task”.

During the meeting, each of the authorities expressed their gratitude for joining efforts in defense of women and providing the necessary psychological and legal support in liaising with the judges and justices of the peace in the communal territory.
