The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs , Kazem Qarib Abadi, assured that the Islamic nation will not give in to external pressure from the West.
“We will not give in to external pressure nor will we allow brutal sanctions to continue to endanger the lives and well-being of millions of Iranians,” he said, noting that if these supposed defenders of human rights (the West) were truly concerned about the well-being of the Iranian people, “they would lift the unilateral sanctions that affect them.”
Qarib Abadi
stressed that, despite the blockades, Iran stands firm and has
been a victim of terrorism with more than 23,000 lives and people killed.
In addition, he held
Western governments responsible for harboring groups involved in terrorist attacks
against the country.
