Kimbelin Meneses won her second rowing medal at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games

The Venezuelan Kimbelin Meneses won her second medal in this edition of the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, after winning the bronze medal in the test of a pair of short women's paddles.
The Venezuelan managed to climb to third place on the podium with a time of 8:12.79, to escort the Mexican Kenia Lechuga (7:54.49) and the Cuban Loraidis Echevarría (8:10.61).
Meneses had already taken the podium with Keila García to claim the silver medal in a double pair of short lightweight paddles last Saturday.
With this result, Venezuelan rowing surpassed its performance in San Salvador 2023 in which it won gold, 2 silver and two bronze.
So far Venezuela is in fourth place in the medal table with 5 gold, the same number in silver and 9 in bronze, for a total of 19 medals.
