La Chinita Airport begins direct flight operations Maracaibo-Miami

With this route, the country's international destinations are increased.

Starting this Tuesday, July 14, in the state of Zulia from La Chinita International Airport, direct flight operations began in Maracaibo-Miami, operated by the airline American Airlines, thus increasing the country's aeronautical growth on more than 150 international routes.

The Secretary of Culture and Institutional Relations of the government of Zulia, Giovany Villalobos, accompanied the inauguration of this first flight and stated that this alliance is part of a comprehensive strategy that contemplates road, lake and air connectivity as fundamental pillars for the entity's progress, details a press release from the government. Namely, the first flight was enthusiastically received by users.

La Chinita International Airport, located between the municipalities of Maracaibo and San Francisco, has technical certification in force for five years and modern infrastructure works and stressed that the entity has three operating air terminals: La Chinita, Relámpago del Catatumbo and Oro Negro.
