La Guaira: First day of ophthalmic surgical recruitment treated 246 cases

The Bolivarian Government of La Guaira carried out the first day of recruitment for ophthalmological interventions with a total of 246 cases collected and it was carried out at the facilities of the Ophthalmological Hospital of La Guaira, located in the Urimare parish.

The specialties covered during this day are cataracts and pterygium, the most common conditions in the population. In addition to surgical intervention, surgery also provides each user with access to pre- and post-operative controls, as well as the necessary lenses to protect themselves during their recovery.

The activity will be extended this week in the aforementioned hospital, which has modern operating rooms equipped with the necessary supplies for quality care and qualified medical personnel to ensure the ophthalmic health of the town.
