The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán,
inaugurated seven projects in the Todasana sector, Caruao communal territory,
aimed at areas of social and productive infrastructure, as part of the
Obratón promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“These works seek to address priority areas such as
education, health, production, justice and recreation in this area with a
rural and peasant vocation,” said Terán, after delivering the
comprehensive rehabilitation of the Emilio Evangelista Echarri Educational Complex, which serves 240 boys and girls.
The intervention included waterproofing, restoration of
classrooms, dining room, kitchen and sanitary areas, as well as the sports court and a
plaza in honor of the cultor Lorenza Ugueto.
Likewise, a new communal house was built that
will house the People's Power Self-Government Room and the headquarters of the Todasana Community Council.
For the peasant communities, 80 producers
from eight peasant councils were equipped with tools and seeds of paprika, auyama,
chives, coriander and avocado, among other local items.
In addition, a collection house for the
agrarian power was provided “which includes the Ezequiel Zamora Training School, and two
fiberglass refrigeration rooms for storing animal and marine protein”.
Governor Terán announced 100% of the recovered
health infrastructure in Caruao parish, with the delivery of the health module in Todasana.
“Throughout the parish, it includes six
rehabilitated outpatient clinics, a Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) and two ambulances that
are rehabilitated and equipped. And now
there is the Todasana outpatient clinic, which has a medical residence to
ensure that health personnel are here 24 hours a day,” he explained,
quoted in a press release from the Government.
