The Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) in Brazil today expressed its solidarity with Cuba and Venezuela by planting trees in various parts of the country, including the island's Embassy in this capital.

A representative of the MST went to the diplomatic legation to plant two araucarias and a baobab tree, as part of an action called by the movement on the occasion of the first month of the aggression of the United States (US) against Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro, reports the Prensa Latina portal.

The solidarity event honored the fighters who died in that attack, including the 32 Cubans who gave their lives fighting against the invaders.
