Landmine explosion leaves 15 dead in northern Syria

This Monday, a group of war observers reported that 15 civilians died from a landmine explosion in the province of Raqqa, in northern Syria.

 

In this regard, he explained that the explosion occurred on February 25 when a group of civilians searching for truffles by mistake activated mines installed there by the Islamic State (IS) group.

 

In this regard, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, based in the United Kingdom, indicated that the death toll could increase, as some people affected are in critical condition.

 

According to the Xinhua website, since January, more than 30 civilians have died from mine explosions as part of the consequences of the war in Syria.
