With the intention of continuing to accompany communal organizations in the territory, the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, deployed this Monday in the José Félix Ribas Commune, located in the Antímano parish, Libertador municipality.

During the visit, the minister accompanied the spokespersons and spokespersons of the Las Brisas Community Council to the inauguration of the stairways and paths project, which was chosen last April 21 by members of the community.

“We started the week working in Antímano, Caracas, in the José Félix Ribas Commune, made up of 10 Community Councils, founded on February 6, 2006. Here we are inaugurating projects funded by President Nicolás Maduro through the Popular Consultation and also projects executed with the support of other State institutions,” he said.

He also stressed that he had the opportunity to share with the large group of men and women who run the commune and who showed him “their productive experience in the textile area, pig breeding and their social program with an excellent feeding house”.

The spokespersons and spokeswomen of that Commune took advantage of the presence of the ministerial authority to present the social cartography and indicated that the priorities correspond to public services such as: public lighting, transportation, toilet, water, pharmacy, roads, rehabilitation of health modules, schools and the construction of a communal gym.

They have 25 Family Production Units (UPF), two Municipal Direct Social Production Companies (EPDC), 11 productive CLAP, in addition to the Sucre and Ribas missions.

This reflects not only the work of organized Popular Power to provide diligent and timely responses to communities, but also evidences the commitment of the national government to guarantee communal self-government.
