The Bookstores of the South
Foundation and the National Book Center
(CENAL), deployed the National Reading Plan “25 by 25” in the
Delta Amacuro state, specifically in the Casacoima municipality.
During the activity, which was coordinated with the state 's sole cultural authority, Ronald Marcano, and the Bolivarian mayor's office of the Casacoima municipality, through its mayor, Héctor Sosa, a literary collection of eight titles was presented.
They also highlighted that these works work like a “knowledge missile”,
designed to break down barriers of disinformation and counteract the passive
consumption of digital content, according to a note from the Ministry for Culture.
During the day,
copies were also provided in the different Communes, Community Circuits and Public Libraries.
This initiative, promoted by the National Executive, seeks to bring young people between 15 and 30 years old closer to the fundamental works of Latin American literature.
