The mayor of the Miranda municipality of Falcón state, Henry Hernández, announced the start of sanitation and recovery work on the eight hectares that make up the Coro Forest.

This project seeks to deliver an ecological legacy to the next generations within the framework of the city's quincentenary. Namely, the first phase of the project, which is expected to be delivered this year, contemplates a profound transformation of space to turn it into a training and recreational epicenter.

The main axes include the expansion of roads, construction of new walkways and adaptation of recreational areas, the creation of a municipal nursery for the afforestation of the city and the establishment of the first Municipal Animal Shelter, intended for the reception, veterinary evaluation and feeding of pets in situations of abandonment or abuse.
