More than 350 tons of high-strength asphalt were placed on Carabobo Street in downtown Maracay, as part of the plan that seeks to stabilize roads in Girardot in the state of Aragua.

Mayor Rafael Morales supervised the application of the material to the roads during the night of Thursday, together with the president of the municipal Asphalt Plant, Frank Contreras, both following the guidelines of the entity's first civil authority.

To date, a total of 350 tons have already been placed on this street, to continue working on an interim basis in the center. According to a local press release, in a few months the city center will be at 100% in road terms, thanks to the commitment to apply three thousand tons of asphalt per month in Girardot.

This work is part of the second vertex Human Cities, Public Services and Infrastructure of the Plan for the Homeland of the 7 Great Transformations.
