Local government provides full-time care to families from Barquisimeto in Lara

In Barquisimeto, capital of the state of Lara, 850 families from the Algarí community, in the parish of Unión, were served through a comprehensive mega-day of health and social assistance carried out by the local government.

Through a press release, it was highlighted that a technical and human team was deployed with the commitment to providing immediate answers to the needs of the inhabitants of this rural area of the capital of Larense.

During the operation, the Municipal Children's Foundation offered pediatric and children's dentistry consultations, as well as free barber services. For its part, the Municipal Institute for Social Development (IMDES) activated its mobile clinic to provide general medicine, dentistry for adults, physiotherapy and ultrasound. The Municipal Institute for Women and Gender Equality (IMMI) provided specialized cytology, family planning, prenatal care and vitamin supplementation for pregnant women, and provided medicines and technical aids.
