Local government treats more than four thousand patients in the state capital Aragua

With a positive balance, the Comprehensive Health Centers and the Casa de los Abuelos in the municipality of Girardot, capital of the state of Aragua, closed March 2026 with a total of 4,718 patients treated in different clinical specialties.
The dentistry service was the most requested with 1,012 people assisted, followed by the clinical laboratory, where 892 studies were carried out between 20 profiles, preoperative exams and special tests. Also noteworthy was the social welfare area, which offered 1,098 hairdressing services, both for older adults and for the general public.
In terms of diagnoses and therapies, 750 X-ray plates and 457 physical rehabilitation sessions were performed to help users recover. For its part, the cardiology department treated 225 patients, performing 268 electrocardiograms and 22 Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (MAP), while 232 studies were performed on general ultrasound.
Women's and children's health was also a priority. Well, 205 women were treated in the gynecology area, with a range of services that included 192 pelvic echoes, 200 transvaginal echoes, 154 cytologies and breast examinations. Pediatrics, meanwhile, received 135 boys and girls. Finally, 163 geriatrics, 120 internal medicine, 86 physiatrics and 64 general medicine consultations were offered for older adults, according to a local press release.
