The Venezuelan Luis Medina won the silver medal in Greco-Roman Wrestling (77 kg) at the 25th Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.
Medina won the silver one after falling in the final to Colombian Jair Cuero.
To reach the final, the Venezuelan left David Choc from Guatemala and Starlin Laguerre from the Dominican Republic on the way.
In the fight, Venezuela ranked second in the medal table with three gold, four silver and 7 bronze medals, for a total of 14 medals, surpassed only by Cuba, who won 10 gold and 5 bronze medals totaling 15 metals.
