Magallanes fell again to Bravos and Eduardo Pérez will not continue as manager (+Mario Lissón)

The sports management of Navegantes del Magallanes announced the departure of manager Eduardo Pérez, after falling again to Bravos de Margarita for the second match in a row and being at the bottom of the potions table for the 2025-2026 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), with a record of 5 won and 11 lost in its first 16 games.
The news was announced by the Valencian club through a statement published on its social networks in which it detailed that it was a decision by mutual agreement
In addition, the filibusters in the letter indicated that they announced Mario Lissón, who was acting as a banking coach, as interim manager.
For their
part, the rest of the technical staff will remain the same: Darwin Marrero
as pitching coach, Ender Chávez as batting coach, Endy Chávez at the
start, Ramón Borrego at third base, Roberto Espinoza as quality control, Clemente Álvarez as catchers coach and Miguel Socolovich as bullpen instructor.
Under
Pérez's command, the electric players recorded 34G-38P counting the regular round of
the LVBP 2024-2025 campaign, while in the past Round Robin they had a record of 6G-10P.
The team
leader thanked Eduardo Pérez for his work during the last year at the helm
of the team and wished him every success in his next career in professional baseball.
Pérez
became the first manager to leave a club in the 2025-2026 LVBP season.
