The workers of the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care and the Hydrological Company of the Capital Region (HIDROCAPITAL), have achieved 80% progress in repairing the master tube that failed in the El Valle Intercommunal, which directly impacted the supply of drinking water to more than 300,000 families from different parishes in the city of Caracas.
In a review of Venezolana de Televisión on its website, it points out that the HIDROCAPITAL team was present after the pipeline damage, registered this Thursday, 19, and began working to solve this flaw.
From the El Valle Intercommunal, security protocols, deployment and care were immediately carried out in the early hours of this Friday morning.
The head of the crew, Camilo Suescun, reported that the pipe had been repaired and it was decided to work on a maintenance process for the other teams present at the site. “In the afternoon-night hours of today, Friday, we are going to recover adequate flows and forecasts to have the optimal service in our city,” he said.
The community spokespersons of the parish confirmed the quick work and the attention given to the inhabitants of this parish in Caracas after the accident.
“With this incident that occurred to us yesterday about the 24-inch pipe, water workers showed up here from the outset (...) Here we also want to thank the minister, our president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez and our Bolivarian Government for the promptness of responding to this news,” said Isabel Gutiérrez.
