In the context of the National Vegetation Control Plan, the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out weeding work at six substations, optimizing electricity service for more than 80,000 inhabitants of the state of Táchira.
The work carried out at the Baci, Palo Grande, Siberia, La Pedrera, El Piñal and Pregonero substations consisted of cutting and removing weeds in operational, perimeter and firewalls, in addition to the application of controlled chemicals in green areas, in order to prolong the conditions of the transformation yards.
These maintenance days, according to a press release, contribute to improving transmission and distribution processes in the municipalities of Uribante, Lobatera, Fernández Feo and Libertador, ensuring greater stability in the provision of the service.
