The Institute of Culture of the State of Monagas (ICUM) paid homage to the master of kineticism, Juvenal Ravelo, at the Mateo Manaure Museum with an exhibition prepared by students at the advanced level of the José Fornes School of Drawing and Painting.

During the activity, according to information from Venezolana de Televisión, she highlighted the work being done in Monagas, Caracas and all over the country to motivate children and young people to visit the country's museums and to be interested in art.

He also congratulated the achievement they have obtained at the ICUM for their work in training students , who offered an exhibition that the teacher described as “strange and unique”, since this is the first time he has seen a fusion made by boys and girls with their works, using elements of the cultural and tourist landscape of Monagas.

In the same way, he applauded the fact that Monagas is at the forefront of countries such as Germany, specifically in the city of Berlin, where children receive training in the plastic arts.

Ravelo was welcomed by regional and municipal cultural authorities, the director of Cultural Management of the ICUM, Loriannys Henríquez, and the president of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Brillit Jiménez, who praised his career in raising the name of the Monagas state nationally and internationally.

In addition, the students, together with their teacher Iván Maicán, presented a plaque of recognition to the also considered the last master of kineticism.
