May justice be applied! Cabello proposed to reopen the Orlando Figuera murder case

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, proposes to reopen the case of Orlando Figuera so that justice is done, with the fact that this Monday, May 20, marks seven years since his vile assassination at the hands of the fascism of the Venezuelan right just because he appeared to be Chavista, to be black and to belong to the humble people.

“I think that even that case must be taken to the National Assembly (AN) and that from there a commission be sent to the Public Ministry, and that this investigation should be reopened for the application of justice (...) that would be a tremendous case for it to be reopened, verified, to call all the actors involved who omitted justice, the masterminds who called on people to violence and material authors and for justice to be applied in Venezuela,” Cabello said during the PSUV press conference.

In that regard, he recalled that today the murderer of Orlando Figuera lives in Spain, protected by the government of that country. “The lady who was a prosecutor at the time said that these images were manipulated and that is why she could not act to order the arrest of the murderers of the material authors and the intellectual authors, that it is very clear who they are, on the contrary, her level of education was against Inés, a humble Venezuelan woman, Orlando's mother,” she said.

In turn, he condemned the actions of that miserable right wing that never dared to denounce that fact, but who include Orlando Figuera among the dead who celebrate their failure. “They are degenerates (...) They are the same people who six years ago said they did not want elections, but now they are going to elections, they are the same ones who asked for sanctions and blockade, they are the same ones who on July 28 are going to say 'fraud' because that is the script they have prepared,” he said.
