The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the 28 communes in the parish of 23 de Enero, most affected by the earthquake double, were given 28 well-equipped tribikes, in addition to materials and tools.

In his account on the social network Instagram, he specified that in Caracas, organized Popular Power has been formed into Community Brigades of the Renace Venezuela Plan for the reconstruction of buildings and spaces that were affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

“In this territory, 7 Community Brigades have already been formed, and currently a total of 456 are registered, with 5,535 brigade members, representing 17 parishes in Caracas,” he explained.

He also stated that “we also incorporated three ambulances to strengthen the free service of (Integrated Ambulance Center for Caracas) CIACA of the Mayor's Office of Caracas and 10 compactor trucks for the collection of solid waste.”

Meléndez noted that in addition, 15 motorcycles were delivered to the inspectors, in addition to four cargo trucks and a bus.

“As our president Delcy Rodríguez has said, we will move forward, because we are all protagonists of the reconstruction of the Homeland,” he emphasized.
